Local Business Owner & Youtube Viewers Provide Ongoing Support to Homeless Shelter

HESPERIA - Azmi Alsanam, the owner of Simple Auto Sales in the City of Hesperia has always been a major support to the clients at High Desert Homeless Services. From providing money for a van rental to get the clients to the circus, to purchasing shoes and socks for a client who got a new job, to handing out money to each client; to now; to reaching out to viewers to Ozzy BS Filter (Youtube Channel) for donations, he has always been a major source of support. On Monday, October 30, 2017, Executive Director Jimmy Waldron accepted a check in the amount of $880 all donated by Ozzy BS Filter viewers. In addition to the donation from his viewers, Azmi donated an additional $160 to pay for half of the costs of pizza for the clients for Halloween. The donations to High Desert Homeless Services do not go unnoticed and are necessary for us to continue to provide services to our clients. Although we receive grants, the funds are often very specific to how and what purposes that they can be used for. The needs to provide everything for approximately 55 men, women, and children seem endless, as are the costs associated with them. The support of local businesses is essential for us to continue to do the work that we do. Want to become a part of our team?  We are always seeking business and private sponsors. With some grants that we have depended on for past years no longer available, we need the support more than ever. Contact HighDesertHomeless@Yahoo.com
